Folgefonn Ready for Season with 8m Snow Cover
The second out of three summer ski resorts in Norway opens for skiing. Popular Folgefonn will be operating until the beginning of September.

After Stryn opening, another Norwegian ski resort,  Folgefonn, is ready for a summer season. Folgefonn is famous for the longest glacier ski slope in the country, with a total length of 1.2 km. The ski resort is also special because lots of other summer activities are near by. Sea beach, ehere you can sail, go fishing etc., is, for example, only 50 km away.

It is also worth mentioning that this particular season will probably be one of the best in the history of this resort, due to huge amount of snow. Currently there is  8 meters  of snow cover, causing some problems - the local restaurant, store and ski rent need to be completely dig out (!) , so that the ski season can start.
